Ever wonder which celebrities shoe designers and executives are drawn to? Whether a crush or a muse, the industry always has its eyes on the biggest and brightest names in show biz — they’re often a source of inspiration, too. Spy made the rounds at FN Platform in Sin City to discover a few footwear players’ favorite faces from the big screen.
Zendaya: “I have a lot of celebrity crushes, but Channing Tatum is always a good go-to because he can dance.”
Giuseppe Zanotti: “I don’t have just one muse or favorite celebrity. I work with many amazing music artists, like Beyoncé, Rita Ora, Jennifer Lopez and FKA Twigs, and it is always an exciting and enriching experience. I have recently designed the shoes for Janet Jackson’s tour, which will kick off on Aug. 31. Janet has been a great friend for many years, and I have the utmost respect for her as one of the most iconic and outstanding artists and style icons of our time. I am excited to see her on tour. Aside from the music world, Gigi Hadid’s natural beauty fascinates me — she perfectly embodies the spirit of my creations.”
Chloe Gosselin: “I have to pick a woman so I don’t get in trouble [with my fiancé],” she joked. “Sophia Bush does so much with charity and has a great energy.”
Paul Andrew: “I’ve become a fan of Charlize Theron. I did meet her 15 years ago, with Narcisco [Rodriguez] … and my jaw hit the ground. She’s so gorgeous. From that moment on, I desired to put shoes on her feet. Alas, that has not happened yet. But we are working on it.”

Rick Cytrynbaum, Kendall + Kylie: “I love that [Kate Bosworth] has two different-colored eyes. She has great style and is effortlessly beautiful.”
Heather Williams, designer, H Williams: “Henry Cavill … especially on ‘The Tudors.’”
Olga Grib, co-founder, Artola: “Amy Schumer. She is wickedly smart and unapologetically funny. I would love to have brunch with her — along with unlimited Bloody Marys.”
Jury Artola, co-founder, Artola: “James Franco, because he’s a modern Renaissance man. He shows us that it’s possible to bend time and space to fit all of your interests.”
